Riyadh Metro, Riyadh City, KSA
Land aquisition

Riyadh Metro Land encroachments. Site project study between the existing land use and the limit-of-work in a condensed city where is not advanced as others to inquire such a land to be used or taken from the public use. The limits-of-work which are required and established by RMTC (Riyadh Metro Transport Consortium) and ADA (Arriyadh Development Authority) has to be revised as is and produce set of drawings to help and understand Metro alignment construction. This static and dynamic behavior investigation of the alignment using existing survey to allows understanding the dynamic response of Track alignment to existing land condition, in order to develop confidence in construction, Limit-of-Work to be revised and modified to new Limit-of-work. Producing a set of the plan to show additional area required for track alignment and Metro stations along with the limit-of-work. Drawings have been processed and issued for RMTC and ADA to be approved and worked accordingly.

Dewatering and Grouting

Deep Underground Stations. Riyadh Metro project of 6 lines. Line 1 and 2 are AECOM design part of the contract and consisting of 16 Underground stations. Working directly with Dr. Haghayeghi, Mr. Mirzakashani and Dr. Sam  Wattar on DUG (Deep Underground) dewatering and grouting constructions sequences preparation in parallel with the design center in Boston to demonstrate and support construction managers to achieve system and the process approach, produced drawings for each single drawing in brief  for DUG dewatering and grouting construction process.

Viaducts and Elevated Stations

Bridges and Elevated Stations. Riyadh Metro project under CPS contract responsibilities are to review shop drawings making sure the validity of Shop drawings as per IFC construction design. Shop drawings for bridges managed and divided into two parts, Substructures done by AECOM in Romania and Superstructures by Corven Engineering in Tallahassee, Florida. As well as Elevated Stations to review IFC which done by AECOM in Madrid.

Roads and Drainage

Riyadh Metro line 1 locate at OBC  (Olaya and Batteha Corridors) required improvement during Metro metro construction. Assist the OBC team to achieve IFC submittal which required to generate Plans, Profiles, sections as per AASHTO standards and to include all utilities conflicting with underground stations. additionally, assist in and review drainage layouts.
